Spring Days

We had a pretty day yesterday, nice and warm but with a nice breeze. Bailey and I went in search of some flowers. I found the ones that blow away ( I dont have the slightest clue what they're called) and taught Bailey how to blow their "petals" away. She ended up getting the majority of them in her mouth, because she put it up too close. But she finally got the hang of it. She even said "yellow!" I'm trying to teach her colors, numbers, abcs, etc. I may be a little behind on teaching her, but we're working on it!

After playing outside we came in to color a kangaroo and her baby, and to have a snack of chocolate fudge cookies. She had to have a bath right after of course. My best friend Autumn was hanging out with us yesterday and Bailey was such a little ham!

This past Thursday at MDO we had an "unbirthday" party to celebrate everyone's birthday. We had pizza and cupcakes (not a good idea for 2 year olds, but they had fun!) Ms. Tiffany (my co-teacher and good friend) brought in her bouncer for the kids to jump in. Bailey LOVED it. I got a few pictures of her and a couple of videos, but I have to go through the videos before I can post them.

Bailey's bouncing with her class. I accidentally cut off half of Tinslee's face~sorry Tiff!

This is similar to the bouncie that they jumped in. I have decided that it would be a good investment for us to have for Bailey. Of course, she won't be getting one until next Christmas or something like that, but she'll love it for a long time to come.

Pictures like this remind me just how blessed I am. I have a sweet little girl who knows how to work my nerves like no one else. Just this morning, she woke me up at 5:00, after I hadn't been able to get to sleep until 3:00. Later we woke up to find that she had pooped all in our bed. She has been having bad, bad diapers for the past few days~we think from getting her molars. She gets cleaned up and eats breakfast, only to do it again, everywhere. She had to get her 1st bath, which I'm sure she'll need another one later. I'm up to my ears today in laundry because I have to wash comforters, sheets, clothes, etc. All because of this precious little girl. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the least bit upset, angry, anything with her. I know she can't help it, I just wish for both of our sakes that she gets back to normal. I love this little girl more than anything in this world, messes and all. She is my pride and joy.

How time flies

This is Bailey at 12 months~actually a couple days after her birthday, dancing with her new carebear.

Here we are today, at 18 almost 19 months, turning carebear and elmo on at the same time so we can dance.

Best Friends

Bailey has an adorable friend named Bella~who I'm sure I've mentioned before. The girls are SO funny together. They love to give each other hugs and kisses all the time, when they're not fighing over toys. I'm sure they'll grow out of that stage fast though. They've just started saying each others' names and it is absolutely precious! They both also sign "friend" when they see each other. I'm so glad that Bailey has such a sweet friend at this early age.

My friend Crystal~Bella's mom~is one of the teachers in Bailey's MDO class. They put the girls together in a crib, because they love to be with each other.

Bailey was trying to give Bella hugs and kisses, but Bella wasn't really in the mood for it! :)
Bailey's sitting in my lap as I type this blog pointing and yelling "Bella!" LOL

Wagon time!

Daddy took her up the driveway and down a little slope. She loves it!

About me!

My sweet friend Jill tagged me to play this little game.

The tag is “7 Things.” It is fun to hear tidbits, facts, unique things about your blogging friends. I have to tag 7 people, so if you don’t like to be tagged, just ignore me. You won’t hurt my feelings … just be a party-pooper. So here's it goes.

The Rules:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

I'm skipping the last 2 rules! ;)

1. My childhood dream was to be an Olympic gymnast. I was obsessed and always watched any gymnastics competition that came on. I even practiced my landings. Yea I was a weird little kid.

2. I have never broken a bone in my body. I tried really hard to break one when I was little because I wanted a cool cast, but I guess I just have strong bones.

3. My elbows are doublejointed. I still freak my mom out by twisting my arms for her. If I hold my arms straight up, they bend out at the elbows.

4. I can make my baby toes move separately from the rest of my toes. I even won a competition in high school at a girls' retreat. I did a little dance with my toes.

5. I am absolutely obsessed with Scarlett O'Hara. She makes me want to live back in those days, w/o the war of course. I love everything about that time period.

6. My dream home is a grand southern plantation home. There would be trees lining the drive up to the house and there would be tons of land, all fenced. Pretty much how I would imagine Tara to look.

7. I have never gotten a speeding ticket and have only been in a tiny wreck where I hydroplaned into a curb. Funny thing is that I normally drive a little over the speed limit (depending where it is). Not usually on purpose though. I have a lead foot and often travel to la-la land when I drive so that I can ignore Bailey's screaming.

Lazy day

We've just been hanging around today. I'm exhausted for some reason and have been for the past few days, so we haven't been out to play in the wagon. Sorry Pappaw! Daddy will be home shortly so he may be recruited for that while I take pictures or maybe I'll nap. I have not grasped the concept of sleeping when the baby sleeps. I always think she'll wake up any minute so I have to rush and get everything done. Then I'm exhausted and fall asleep. So today she slept 4 hrs, I slept about 30 min. Go figure...

Well the past week Bailey has been following me from room to room with all of her stuff. I'm talking a load of toys that will usually take multiple trips. Most of the time she just leaves everything in the door way like this. But if I leave the room she runs to grab her toys and follows me. I feel bad if I'm stopping in a room just to grab something and I'll usually help her out. It's really funny.

You can also see the purple carebear and Elmo. They both dance and sing, so they're big. They have become her new best friends, along with Pooh of course. This morning we let her down to play for a minute while we start getting up. We look over and Elmo and Carebear are standing in the doorway! I wish I had had my camera for that one. She'll even want to cuddle, but she won't let me cuddle her unless she has both of them, which is very difficult...especially if you hit one of their hands on accident. Then she gets excited and starts dancing.
Here is my little mommy (with her paci of course) pushing her friend Ella in her stroller. She usually switches out Pooh and Ella and gives them spins around the house.
Like I said, lazy day so no bow!
