A new one

I know that Bailey's lining up of her toys has stumped many people..me included. That's just how she plays. She does it all the time, but this is a new one. Normally, they're all just lined up facing the same way. I went in her room to clean up her toys and found this. They're lined up 3x3 in perfectly spaced lines. Not only that, but I remember when she did this. I was trying to get her to come sit with me and wind down. She was doing everything she could to stay awake and went in her room to play in the dark. I heard her playing with these toys, but never checked to see what she was doing. So she did this in the dark....

Our little chunker!

We got to take a peek at Austin the other day. He's gotten so big that it was very hard to get a good view. Everything was all bunched together. But we were able to get a face shot! We just couldn't get all of his face in one shot~it was either one part of it or another. One thing we are sure of is that he has chubby little cheeks!!

We're thinking he'll be a big boy, but we'll just have to wait and see!

My goodness!

4 days people! ONLY 4 MORE DAYS!!! Can you believe it?! It's flown by, but gone so slowly at the same time. Weird, huh? My c-section is scheduled for 7:30 Wednesday morning. So by lunch time Wednesday, we will have two children! Crazy...

Our weekend

We had a very fun , special weekend. My dearest friend Crystal flew in from California and stayed with us for the weekend!! She and her kids moved to CA this past May and we've missed them very much! We had tons of girl time, with lots of coffee, chit-chat, and UNO!

I also had a baby shower thrown by my awesome friends in playgroup. I had a blast and Austin got all kinds of great stuff! He won't need anything for a LONG time!

Well, tomorrow I go to the Dr. to see how everything's going with Austin. Hopefully it'll just be a routine appointment, but it's a little worrisome since I've been having many of the same symptoms I had with Bailey. So I've been "resting" and taking it easy, per Dr's orders.

Gag me!

Our child's new favorite thing to eat is shredded cheese. Gross! She ate 4 bowls of it this afternoon and loved every bite of it. She just kept saying "more chee" in her sweet pleading voice, not the whiny one. So I had to give her what she wanted, even if I did want to puke every time I did it. Oh well, at least she's eating right? And it's not goldfish!

And in exactly 2 weeks Austin will be here!!!

Such a beautiful sight

Yesterday we had a diaper shower with our awesome Sunday School class and both Nana and Grandmother. Every mom loves diapers! You can never have too many. In case you can't tell, there are diapers stacked on both sides and the wipes are hidden over to the left. We were sooooo excited to get these all in here!

And I finally got this from Nana! I searched high and low for the exact diaper bag that I wanted. I originally wanted blue and brown toile in this style, but aparently it's just too hard to make?? Yea silly I know, but no one made one in that way. So I finally decided on this one and I LOVE it!!!!

Finally, an update!

We're still here, just extra tired these days!

We took Bailey to get her 2 year pictures done. I am amazed that we were even able to get a shot b/c she did not like being there! We got a picture in her flower girl dress and these tutu pictures. I LOVE them! And yes I am ghetto for taking a picture of a picture, but we don't have a scanner, so deal with it! :)

I seriously crack up every time I walk in her room and see the dancing picture in the top right. It's sooo Bailey!

Last Saturday Bailey and I were in my BFF Autumn's wedding. It was a beautiful day, perfect for her wedding!

Me, Halie, and Autumn at rehearsal dinner

Bailey practicing her role. She did really well practicing.

And the big day!!
All the girls..we were "beating her w/ our flowers" I don't know...

Me and the gorgeous bride

The bride w/ her matron of honor and maid of honor

Everybody

Mom and I saw a family of deer on the way and thought it was picture worthy. Yes we stopped in the middle of the road and took a picture.

During the ceremony. Can't ya tell I'm ready to POP! Austin kept kicking at the flowers, I was so sure they were bouncing all over the place.

And the cutest little flower girl. She did great coming down the aisle and was so excited. Until she tried to stand up in the wagon and almost fell. It all went downhill from there. Luckily daddy was right there and ready to move. They didn't even get to stay for the reception. Bailey ended up crashing in the car after a few minutes, even with her long nap before the wedding. You just never can tell w/ her!
And the most exciting news of all:
Autumn and Harley just found out they're expecting TWINS!!! Sooo incredibly excited! We always planned to have babies at the same time. I'm a good bit ahead of her this pregnancy, but instead of having my 3rd and her 2nd together, we'll be on track again ;)

Yet another "sound asleep" post

Bailey was bound and determined not to take a nap yesterday. She wouldn't even sit down. So I turned on Nemo for her and she leaned against the couch to watch it. And of course, she fell asleep standing up!! She was out cold! She is such a little booger!

Our Halloween in TONS of pictures!

We had a very fun Halloween. Only bad part is Daddy had to work :( We missed him VERY much!

Bailey has worn 2 costumes for each Halloween and this year was no exception. I don't buy them, they've either been lent or given to us. Her 1st year she was a little piggie and a UT cheerleader. Last year she was a MTSU cheerleader and Piglet. This year she was a bumble bee (for school) and Tinkerbell.

We had a "Fairytale party" at MDO and Bailey had a blast. She got very sugared up, as did all the other kids. In other words this sleeping picture is the only picture I got that day. She came home and crashed!

She did put her costume on again the next day to let me get some pictures.

When she walked or ran her little stinger wiggled back and forth. So cute!

Halloween day we went to a birthday/ Halloween party for a friend of ours. She was so pumped that she didn't sleep until we got to Grandmother's that night. I wanted to take her trick-or-treating. She wanted to sleep.

Luckily, she woke up after a while and played some.

This is when she saw Rayrie!

I wanted to get a picture with her, but it can be very difficult to get a decent one.

After that we went to Nana's to go trick-or-treating with David. She LOVED it! She insisted on carrying around a bucket full of candy that she had stolen from Nana's basket. She walked up the steps and held out her bucket like a big girl. I really don't think she was ready to stop.

Tinkerbell and Bumblebee (the transformer)

Austin and I were a fishbowl!

Stealing Nana's loot

All ready to go!
