I was very shocked (and unhappy) to find this lovely "work of art" by none other than the talented Austin Grant Todd! I was told that he was so very proud of himself too. He continued to try and do this for days after.

Any guesses?




Well if you said a towel and tons of toilet paper stuffed in the hall toilet, you were right!

Another year older

That's right. I'm the big 2-5 (+2 wks). I feel so incredibly old! We had a nice relaxing birthday weekend. I got to celebrate it w/ all my loves, just as it should be!



Bailey was such a big helper, of course.

Teeny update

Well, I finally looked at the blog and realized that my background was gone. So I changed it for ya! I'll add pictures and update soon (probably a month from now! ha) Honestly, I will try to do it sooner. I have to get on the other computer to download pictures and that's just a big hassle and takes more time. Time's a big issue for us right now. If we could add about 5 more hrs a day-for "me" time and sleep-I'd be a happier person. And my blog would be updated more often. ;)

Really not surprised...

We've seen this similar sleeping pose before and I'm sure we'll see it again. Silly girl! Oh yea, notice that messy room?? We've given up.

Oh ya know

Here at the Todd house, we sleep on the floor. In the doorway of bedrooms. Or if you can remember (b/c I don't have the picture on the laptop) sleeping is also ok on bathmats.



And the little stinker found another paci. But isn't she beautiful? And so peaceful. :)

Just a typical night

Austin has quickly become our good sleeper. He goes down between 6:30-7 and will typically sleep 12 hrs. Bailey is another story...

She gets in bed at 7:30 at the latest. She gets a bedtime story and a movie. She'll take some toys into bed and play. Or she'll get up and play in her floor, but will run and jump in her bed if I walk by her room. Then she's "beally hunry". Then "beally thirsty". Then her movie's over and she needs another one. Then she has a really cool trick that she has to show me. Or as she has done lately, go through her drawers and play dress up w/ her clothes and shoes. And show Mommy each outfit for her fashion show. She is told only a gazillion times a night to get back in bed or her movie will be turned off. Of course I never follow through b/c I don't want to turn her movie off and listen to her scream until she falls asleep.

One thing that never changes is waiting up for Daddy. Every night. She likes to get things ready to show him or play w/ him later. At some point she slinks out of her room into the living room or usually mommy and daddy's bed. Tonight she kept calling "Daddy...Daddy...Daddy!! You need a hurry up!" Then she decided to hang out in the recliner and wait for him. Aparently she couldn't hang until he made it home.
