Pooltime!

It has been ridiculously hot this week, so I decided the kids needed a swimming playdate. I ran to Dollar General and grabbed a pool and hose. Of course I would grab a "watering hose", where there are tiny holes all through hose to water landscaping. Took a little longer to fill up the pool...


Austin and Kinsey are both big water babies! They love it. They had a lot of fun together. First, Austin kept throwing the toys out. Then, he and Kinsey kept trying to climb out. Autumn and I stayed busy w/ those two.



Austin's favorite thing to do, mainly in the bathtub, is to jump up and splash down. He just giggles and giggles.

Austin decided he needed to get some sun. Poor kid's got some pretty fair skin, just like his mama.

We're back!

So we're just going to pretend it hasn't taken a month to update, ok?

We've been very busy!! We have 2 new additions to our family.

Meet Miss Blister Bones Todd! She goes by Bones. We were going to try BB, but it didn't really fit. We just didn't feel right changing her name, when she already knows it. And Bay had no trouble saying it! She is the sweetest, laziest girl ever! We had a rough time in the beginning and decided to bring Miss Gracie to live w/ us and be friends w/ Bones. They were a little unsure of each other at first, but are now good. I'm sure they'll be the best of buds in no time.





She is extremely spoiled and like our other 3 yr old, she LOVES Mommy and Daddy's bed. She and Daddy nap together a lot!



See what I mean?? She even takes up the whole bed, just like Bay.



Bones isn't just any dog, mind you. She's a retired racing greyhound, w/ 22 (approximately) races under her belt. She even won 2 races. You can click on the link below to watch one of her 1st place races. She's in the 2nd race, she's #6 in the yellow.
