New Accomplishments

We decided to try out the exersaucer yesterday and Austin was definitely excited! He had so many new things to look at. He did have to have blankets holding him in place, but he'll get the hang of it before long.



We have had a really hard time with "tummy time". Austin has a pretty sensitive tummy and spits up very badly whenever he lays on his tummy. And he gets very mad! Now I've started putting him on his tummy and when he fusses, flipping him over for a few minutes before putting him back on his tummy. We did this for a long time yesterday.



And he is trying to flip over! He can't really push himself up just yet, but he has figured out how to roll onto his side like this.

And the most exciting thing these days:

Bailey is CRYING for bathtime! I got a small window during one bathtime to explain what we were actually doing. She started fussing about the soap and I told her that the soap was good and we were getting all the "yuckies" off. She said "oohh" and let me wash her! Then I told her we had to get the yuckies out of her hair and she needed to hold her head back so I could do it. And SHE DID IT! For the past 2 years we have had a horrible time with baths and now she finally understands!
